Zijin Akyem Development Foundation
The Zijin Akyem Development Foundation (ZADeF) is a community-focused development organization dedicated to creating sustainable value for the ten (10) Akyem mine-affected communities.
ZADeF operates as a tripartite body uniting Zijin Golden Ridge Limited (the mining company), the Birim North District Assembly (local government), and mine host and impacted communities.
This was established as the social responsibility vehicle for the Zijin Golden Ridge Limited. The Foundation works to drive long-term social and economic transformation through strategic partnerships, impactful interventions, and a commitment to inclusive development.
